The Adolescent unit at Spring Harbor hospital, specializes in the care of children, generally in the 12 to 17-year-old range, in a 14 bed facility. Our multidisciplinary patient care team specializes in the treatment of diagnoses most commonly found in children and adolescents.
The Clinical Support Coordinator provides administrative assistance to the Nurse Manager and unit staff to support unit operations.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred
License/Certifications: Certified Health Unit Coordinator preferred
Experience: Administrative assistant experience in a health care setting preferred
Organizational abilities, computer knowledge, strong communication skills, willingness to learn new programs, adhere to strict confidentiality standards consistent with Spring Harbor Hospital
