Summary

For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering up to a $20,000 for experienced Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of experience!

  • Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or part-time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for part-time hires; per diem hires are ineligible.
  • Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

    We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team of dedicated Behavioral Health professionals working with individuals, families, groups and communities assessing mental health needs, developing a comprehensive plan of care, assisting in the implementation of the treatment plan, and evaluating the response to care to include triage of patients in the Ambulatory Detox Program.

    Strong nursing skills and knowledge of how to assess patients for ETOH withdrawal strongly preferred.

  • This is a full time Monday-Friday, 40 hour per week position

    Position Summary
    • Assists with face-to-face and telephonic care and treatment of patients. Responsible for the delivery of care through the process of nursing assessment, planning and implementation. Promotes a smooth flow of patients through the office and helps to create a calm and supportive atmosphere, demonstrating the Values in Action with each interaction, at all times. Performs tasks as required within their scope of practice, paying attention to detail and accuracy. Conducts all interactions with patients and personnel in a courteous, respectful manner while maintaining confidentiality. The incumbent is required to conduct all job responsibilities consistent with policies, procedures, and in compliance with all applicable laws or mandates relating to patient care and activities.

    Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

    • Education: BSN preferred.
    • License/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the Maine State Board of Nursing required. Current BLS required.
    • Experience: At least two years' experience in related field preferred.
    • The use and knowledge of computers, the knowledge of office procedures necessary, and routine laboratory procedures.
