The Software Business Analyst develops and maintains critical service operations software tools, including Salesforce, telephony system, and integration with proprietary software platforms. They tools are used by the Fleet Organization; including Technical Support, Field Applicating Engineering, Service Operations, and Fleet Engineering enabling warranty processing, technical support interactions, field service, and fleet health metrics. Projects will include Salesforce development and data analysis in collaboration with various departments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Develop the Salesforce organization, including:
  • Working with stakeholders to scope out projects and deliver requirements
  • Focus on continuous improvement within the organization, reviewing processes and systems
  • Propose modifications and enhancements to aid in improvement
  • Use data to drive analysis and decision-making regarding prioritization of projects
  • Manage longer-term development projects
  • Maintain the Generac clean energy phone system

  • Maintain data integrity throughout the Salesforce organization

  • Special project management
  • Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

*Bachelor's degree or equivalent
*Previous work experience in Salesforce in an administrator role
*Previous work experience in Python or other programming language for Data Analysis
*Previous project management experience


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
*Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and capabilities
*Salesforce certification(s)
*Analytical mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvements
*SAP, BI, Python, and SQL experience
*Experience with cloud based telephony systems such as Amazon Connect or similar


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Ability to present information clearly and effectively to a variety of audiences;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and/or assignments concurrently;
  • Proficiency in database applications and MS Office with excellent Excel skills;
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, SQL, and Python
  • Ability to act proactively, independently, and decisively to quickly assess needs and identify logical solutions;
  • Ability to think and act strategically;
  • Ability to work collaboratively across business units' hierarchy and functions;
  • Excellent interpersonal, management, motivation and analytical skills
  • Self-starter with initiative and vision; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously


LEVEL OF INDEPENDENCE: High level of independence; reports to mid or senior level manager or executive.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job include are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
