Position Summary

At the direction of MRI Supervisor, will assist technologists in the performance of technical duties. This position is responsible for assisting the technologist with the preparation of the MR Suite for patient exams. This position assists with the screening of patients and visitors who might enter the MR Suite. Works at all locations that provide MRI services.

Sundays 8a-4:30p, Monday 11:30a-8p, Tuesday 11:30a-8p. Mondays and Tuesdays could be flexible to be different days if needed, but this person will need to cover Sundays.

No prior experience in imaging is needed. Prior patient care skills are preferred.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Completion of a nurse's aide training course approved by the Maine State Board of Nursing is preferred

License/Certifications: State of Maine C.N.A. license preferred. BLS Certification is required.

Experience: One year's experience in an acute care setting desirable.
