Summary

Quarry Hill is seeking a Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA)/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their team! Quarry Hill is in the heart of Camden with shopping, recreation, and the ocean within minutes of the beautiful campus. Come join us!

For a limited time MaineHealth is offering sign on bonuses for Clinical Nursing Assistants:

0-1 years of experience eligible for $2,500 (full time)

1+ years of experience eligible for $4,000 (full time)

Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time CNA position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.

Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

  • Position Summary This position consists of 32 hours per week.
    • Provide personal care services, assistance, support and supervision to residents of the Anderson Inn - Terraces and Courtyard units. Provides services based upon service plan in order to maintain independence, dignity and social well being. Administers medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: High school diploma or GED is strongly preferred, with reading, comprehension and writing ability at a 12th grade level or higher.
    • License/Certifications: Listed on the State of Maine Certified Nursing Assistant Registry.
    • Experience: Training/experience as a CNA/CRMA. Experience or interest in working with older adults.
    • Skills in nurturing and organizing similar to those in a domestic household.
    • Maturity, friendliness and enjoyment in working with people.
    • OSHA-MSDS sheets and procedures.
    • Fire and safety procedures.
    • Knows resident rights and understands abuse and neglect per state regulations.
    • Food-handling regulations
    • Operation of kitchen appliances (dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave, coffeemaker, ice machine, etc.), office equipment (fax machine, photocopier, telephone, etc), and household appliances (vacuum cleaner, etc.).
    • Skills in nurturing and organizing similar to those in a domestic household.
    • Maturity, friendliness and enjoyment in working with people.
