Current Need:

We are looking for an Executive Assistant to perform a variety of administrative tasks and support our company's Chief Technology and Innovation Officer and a Vice President within the organization. Executive Assistant's responsibilities include managing calendars, making travel arrangements, preparing expense reports, ad hoc special projects, and assisting within our Boston-based office. To be successful in this role, you should be well-organized, have great time management skills, and be able to act without guidance. Ultimately, you will contribute to the efficiency of our business by providing personalized and timely support to executive members.

This is a hybrid role in Boston, MA. Candidate must reside in the Boston area and be willing/able to be in office 3-4 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage sensitive matters with a high level of confidentiality and discretion especially decisions directly impacting the operations of the company.

  • Sustain a daily calendar of meetings and events.

  • Prepare Word, Excel, PowerPoint presentations, agendas, reports, special projects, and other documents in support of objectives for the organization.

  • Arrange travel (including complex international trips) and accommodations for executives; prepare expense reports.

  • Screen and triage emails in executive's inbox; respond to requests by gathering and providing information.

  • Excellent communication and time management skills; proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to function well in a high-paced environment; performs additional duties as assigned by executives.

  • Draft and prepare correspondence for internal announcements, and organizations that the executive is involved with.

  • Manage the Executive's contacts.

  • Be responsive to emails/texts/phone calls; contact outside normal business hours during travel periods may be needed.

  • Use discretion, confidentiality, and good judgment to handle C-Level matters.

  • Represent the company and the Executive in a positive light through great follow-through skills and sound judgment.

  • Conserve the Executive's time by reading, researching, collecting information as needed, in advance.

  • Complete ad hoc projects as assigned - such as offsite team meetings and internal events.

  • Organize complex calendars and schedules; resolving any scheduling issues.

  • Maintain the Boston office condition; schedule necessary repairs; and maintain office supplies.

  • Provide general assistance to visitors at the Boston office, as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 6+ years of related experience supporting C-Level executives in an executive assistant role

Critical Skills:

  • Must reside in the Boston area and be willing/able to work in office 3-4 days per week

  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

  • Advanced proficiency in Concur and previous experience utilizing Concur for travel and expense management

  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally

  • Flexible hours as dictated by the needs of business for projects and meetings

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$35.91 - $59.85
