ACU is seeking a per diem Endoscopy Tech (CNA) to join the team!
Position Summary This position is per diem with variable hours.

The Endoscopy Technician under the supervision of the Registered Nurse in assisting the physician in the endoscopic examination and treatment of patients. He/she is expected to adhere to SGNA standards and demonstrates knowledge of equipment, instruments, and procedures pertinent to the Endoscopy Unit. The Gastroenterology Technician must have a sense of responsibility and a willingness to meet the required time assignments and work load.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1.Education: N/A

2.License/Certifications: BLS certification, CNA Certification, State of Maine

3.Experience: N/A

4.Competent organizational/interpersonal skills.

5.Competent clinical/technical skills.

6.Gastroenterology Technicians are strongly encouraged to complete the GI Associates Skill Validation test and achieve the title GI Technical Specialist.
