Saco Bay PT is seeking an oupatient Occupational Therapist (Ortho, Oncology, Lymphedema) in Falmouth, ME

Per Diem

Our outpatient orthopedic center in Falmouth is seeking an occupational therapist to serve our diverse patient population on a per diem basis. Strong candidates will have a passion for oncology, mentorship available! Outpatient, oncology, and lymphedema experience are a plus.

Seize the opportunity to join our trained and respected ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation Program team who provide rehabilitative services to help improve quality of life for people affected by cancer. Our ReVital team provides the necessary education and training for therapists invested in treating our diverse patient population, which must be completed within the first 6-12 months of employment. Compensation: Starting at $45/hr commensurate with experience and internal equity.

Responsibilities
    Understand appropriate state practice acts and adhere to the laws which govern how occupational therapists may practice and whom occupational therapists may supervise.
  • Complete and maintain all corporate & clinical services required training and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations.
  • Evaluate, treat, and direct treatment for patients for whom occupational therapy is medically necessary and document this need clearly.
  • Maintain open and respectful communication with co-workers, physicians, patients, family members, and third-party payors at all times.
  • Attend and/or participate in facility meetings as directed by the center manager.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of those educational requirements as mandated for state licensure or eligibility for a license in Occupational Therapy
  • Current State licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice
  • Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cancer rehabilitation interest/experience
  • Lymphedema interest/experience
  • Outpatient experience
