Job Description

Summary

  • Position Summary
    • This is food service production work responsible for providing leadership and direction to Food Services Workers and Room Service Representatives in a work area (Dish Room, Nourishments, Food Prep, Tray assembly and Tray Delivery). This work also involves performing the duties of a Food Services Worker and assuming supervisory responsibility during the absence of a Food Service Supervisor.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: N/A
    • License/Certifications: N/A
    • Experience: Knowledge of food production operations normally acquired through experience as a Food Services Worker.
    • Ability to meet deadlines.
    • Ability to delegate duties as needed to appropriate employees.
    • Ability to work well with others.
    • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
    • Knowledge of food safety.
    • Knowledge of Hospital Quality Improvement Program.
