Reporting to the Branch Manager, this position is responsible for performing duties in receiving, warehousing and shipping of products. This role requires regular and ongoing direct contact with customers in the delivery of high quality and timely service.

Key Tasks:

  • Works to co-ordinates the proper warehousing of products.
  • Checks for damaged articles, quality and quantity and records quantities received and reports to manager/supervisor regarding to damaged items and shortages.
  • Operates and services equipment used in the movement of products and equipment.
  • Operates by Nutrien Ag Solutions policy and procedures regulations in the handling and storage of products, supplies, equipment and completes related documentation.
  • Draws product and supplies from stock to fill customer orders.
  • Makes deliveries or assists with the co-ordination of shipment with the internal and external transportation organizations.
  • Assists in the product blending operations.
  • Reviews for accuracy and completes all shipping documentation to product being shipped or receive into and out of the warehouse.
  • Maintains condition of inventory by first in first out movement of product.
  • Conducts regular inventory checks for damage, shortages and condition of products.
  • Assists in the implementation and maintenance of a positive image program at the branch.
  • Promotes professional customer services that our facility provides.
  • Keeps the manager informed of levels of existing inventory and stock items use at the facility.
  • Always complies with all Nutrien Ag Solutions' and Industry regulatory and safety standards.
  • Keeps facilities and grounds clean and tidy, well maintained, and free of safety hazards.
  • Carries out a regular preventative maintenance program and conducts minor supervised repairs.
  • Maintains stock control records and reports.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Skills:

  • Positive customer service attitude.
  • Effective communication and time management skills

Qualifications:

  • Operational experience preferred with demonstrated equipment operations and maintenance skills.
  • Be able to follow instruction from co-works and works as a team member.
  • Ability to perform warehousing shipping and receiving functions.
  • Be able maintain a current driver's license and report to work on time daily.
  • Ability to learn and perform blending operations functions and work with and follow direction of team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop good working relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and deal with the public effectively.
  • Proven ability to work independently.
  • Learn mechanical operation and maintenance that need to be conducted at the facility.
  • Demonstrated physical ability to perform the functions of the job including good eyesight and reading and knowledge skill.
  • Minimum of basic computer competency.
  • Ability to complete a Criminal Background Check, Drug & Alcohol Testing, and Driving Record Abstract and other requirements ofNutrien Ag Solutionspolicies and procedures.
