Summary

  • $3000 SIGN ON BONUS!!
  • *must be separated from Mainehealth for 3 months to be eligible**
  • Position Summary
    • Under the supervision of the OR Management performs all aspects of the Operating Room Assistant job description. In addition, coordinates the activities of the OR Assistant group in supporting the daily operations of the Operating Room.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: High School education preferred. Associate Degree preferred.
    • License/Certifications: N/A
    • Experience: Prior leadership experience on a progressive level of 2-5 years preferred. Knowledge of OR PST role and/or prior experience in an OR setting preferred.
    • Interpersonal skills necessary for effective leadership of assigned personnel and in order to collaborate with a variety of personnel throughout the hospital to meet the needs of the OR.
    • Highly independent functioning with the analytical ability to prepare work schedules, prioritize work assignments, maintain a variety of records and assist in the development of department policies, procedures, budgets.
    • High level of problem solving and decision making skills.
    • Ability to utilize department and hospital wide computer software programs.
