  • Position Summary
    • The Invasive Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist will utilize a combination of training, assessment and technical skills in the accomplishment of their duties in the Cath Labs. The level I Cath Lab tech is require to scrub and assist in the performance of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
    • The position requires the use of hemodynamic monitoring equipment and constant evaluation of the patient's hemodynamic status and vital signs. The Level I invasive technologist will also be required to manage the image during the procedure. Work is performed with considerable independence. Accurate record keeping and attention to detail are essential.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: Graduate of school of Cardiovascular Technology or school of Radiologic Technology, or an advanced, comprehensive program of cardiaovascular specialization.
    • License/Certifications: RTs must be ARRT and have a current Maine license.
    • Experience: Clinical experience preferred but not required.
    • Sterile technique.
    • Strong computer skills, especially Windows.
