Support Partner - Special Care Unit (SCU)

Job Description
Summary

Position Summary This position consists of 36 hours per week.
-
The SCU/SD Support Partner, under the direction of a SCU/SD RN or attending physician, facilitates the provision of patient care. This will include performing tasks contributing to the functional operation of the SCU/SD Unit, as well as the comfort of SCU/SD patients and visitors.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
-
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is strongly preferred. MOAB Training recommended.

License/Certifications: Current State of Maine CNA certificate is strongly preferred.

Experience: N/A

Basic Computer Skills
-
OSHA-MSDS sheets and procedures.

Operation of Office Equipment and patient call system.

Good telephone etiquette.
